The Simple Unlock Process...

2. Receive unlock confirmation
When your iPhone IMEI has been registered as unlocked on the Apple database you will receive an email notifying you and explaining how the process is completed. The time this takes varies depending on the network.
3. Connect to iTunes
Connect your iPhone to a computer with the standard USB cable. iTunes will recognise your iPhone when it does, you simply unplug the cable from your iPhone and then plug it back in again. This will update your iPhone and you will see a 'congratulations' message, confirming that you have completed the process and your iPhone is now unlocked.
